We are delighted to share the experience and advice of Ana, a faithful paymaniac of 48 years, who talks about skin protection during the summer. Here you will discover tips and recommendations to keep your skin radiant during the hottest and brightest months.
Tell us your keys to taking care of your skin during the summer
Well, look, I had a very flirtatious grandmother who repeated the same thing to me every summer: “the sun you sunbathe too much now stays inside you and, in a few years, it will come out in the form of spots”. He was great, he always told us to wear hats and only sunbathe in “the hours of beauty”, that is, the early hours of the morning and the late afternoons.
I follow your advice since then and, in addition, I hydrate my skin.
Do you moisturize it? Don't you protect it?
Logically, you have to use some sun protection, to prevent blemishes and to keep your skin healthy, but it is not necessary to put on factors 50 SPF or more, if you do not have a skin problem or if you are going to repeat the application throughout the day.
Of course, if I'm going on a hike that lasts all day or if I'm going to have to be in the sun at midday, I do put on a 30SPF sunscreen.
But, for the rest, the important thing is to have juicy and hydrated skin so that, when it comes to receiving the sun's rays (remember that I expose my skin at times when the sun is not very strong) the skin browns in a healthy and lasting way.
I have been using Sun Cream for more than 15 years and, with the natural protection it contains (comparable to 10 SPF), repeating the application every hour, never I have burned myself and I get a beautiful tone, which also lasts a long time.
I don't do it for an aesthetic reason, I do it to take care of my skin. I like that it has a golden look, yes. But at the same time she looks healthy.
