We are delighted to share the experience and advice of Ana, a 48-year-old faithful paymaniac, who talks about skin protection during the summer. Here you will discover tips and recommendations to keep your skin radiant during the hottest and brightest months.
Tell us your keys to taking care of your skin during the summer
Well, look, I had a very flirtatious grandmother who told me the same thing every summer: “ the sun you take too much now stays inside you and, in a few years, it will come out in the form of spots .” He was great, he always told us to wear a hat and to only sunbathe in “ the hours of beauty ”, that is, the early morning and late afternoon .
I have followed their advice since then and, in addition, I moisturize my skin.
Do you hydrate it? Don't you protect it?
Logically, you have to use some sun protection, to prevent spots and to keep your skin healthy, but it is not necessary to put on SPF factors of 50 or more, if you do not have a skin problem or if you are going to repeat the application throughout. the day.
Of course, if I'm going on an all-day hike or if I'm going to have to be in the sun at midday, I do put on a 30SPF sunscreen.
But, for the rest, the important thing is to have juicy and hydrated skin so that, when it comes to receiving the sun's rays (remember that I expose my skin at times when the sun is not very strong) the skin turns golden brown. healthy and lasting way.
I have been using Sun Cream for more than 15 years and, with the natural protection it contains (comparable to 10 SPF), repeating the application every hour, I have never burned myself and I get a beautiful tone, which also lasts a long time .
I don't do it for an aesthetic reason, I do it to take care of my skin. I like that it has a golden look, yes. But at the same time she looks healthy.
And, regarding skin blemishes, do you have any advice?
Skin blemishes can be worrying, especially on skin like mine: quite white and mature.
My family, genetically, has some stain or another. I, many years ago, discovered Balance Liquid . I know that there are products with lightening and antioxidant ingredients that can be of great help, but Balance Liquid is ideal because it is natural, improves the skin's luminosity and lightens skin spots . I've been using the formula for so many years that I wouldn't change it for anything. If you are consistent, the results are incredible , you literally see how the stain fades away.
For me, the ideal combination is Balance Liquid and, after that, a little Natural Rich Cream (in summer I use less, but I don't stop it).
When I found out about the Paymani brand (more than 15 years ago) I called and they told me that, since Natural Rich Cream has carrot juice, it activates melanin and fights spots. Also, the oils it contains give you some natural protection and, logically, it keeps my skin well hydrated.
What would be your advice to keep your skin in its best condition during the summer?
I don't doubt it: I would repeat to everyone what my grandmother told us when we were little: don't go overboard with the sun (because it stays inside and, in a few years, it will come out in the form of spots) and only bask in the sun of beauty . They are also the most delicious hours of the day: there are fewer people, more peace and greater enjoyment.
